When innova calls, Sharp DX is already on its way
innova’s insurance solutions are streamlined, standardized, and affordable. There’s no room for distractions in innova’s day-to-day operations. This also applies to IT. IT is important and critical, but it’s not a core competency. This is exactly where Sharp DX complements innova’s business model: with customized managed IT services under an “outtasking” model.

Built for innova, operated for innova
innova has opted for a dedicated IT environment operated in two of its own data centers. The environment’s design complies with Sharp DX standards and was defined in collaboration with innova. It includes x86 and storage components from Lenovo/IBM, VMware as the hypervisor, Citrix in conjunction with thin clients for publishing applications and data, and Veeam for replication and backup/recovery. However, the exact components used are far less important to innova than ensuring IT operations without having to allocate its own resources. The outtasking model that innova and Sharp DX have jointly established is based on Sharp DX’s ORIA principle, which provides, in a modular fashion, precisely the IT services required by innova’s business.
