With ORIA by Sharp DX, Flagfood has a forward-looking and flexible operating model that serves as an integrated solution requiring minimal effort on Flagfood’s part.
Flagfood has a long-standing, dynamic partner network and sources its raw materials worldwide from all agricultural regions with a focus on Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Chile and South Africa.

For Flagfood, a solid IT infrastructure for office automation and a stable ERP system are essential for trading in raw materials. It should be efficient and support business and trade.
Solution
Sharp DX provides Flagfood with infrastructure, software, and operations services based on the ORIA principle. The platform used is a highly available shared cloud environment spanning two data centers—with replication, backup, and recovery in between. This platform is based on the latest WAN, LAN, computing, and storage technologies, as well as software services. It is also already equipped to meet Flagfood’s future requirements. Individual applications such as operating systems, Active Directory, file, print, and Microsoft Exchange services, as well as the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP solution, are provided as “virtually dedicated” services via ORIA. These applications and services, as an integral part of the complete service offering, are published via Citrix XenApp and Windows Terminal Services and made available to users.
