ITpoint Becomes Sharp DX (Switzerland) AG: Sharp Europe Strengthens Its Digital Transformation Business in Switzerland

Following the acquisitions of Complete I.T. in the United Kingdom, ITpoint in Switzerland, and Apsia in France, Sharp is consolidating its European IT capabilities under the umbrella brand Sharp DX (Digital Experience), thereby creating a comprehensive managed services offering that supports companies and partners across Europe at every stage of their digital transformation. The new brand identity represents another milestone in Sharp Europe’s growth strategy and integrates ITpoint into Sharp’s unified European identity for digital transformation, managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, data management, business applications, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Through closer collaboration with the European Sharp DX organizations, existing Sharp customers will benefit from a broader range of services and gain access to additional expertise. However, the familiar points of contact, project teams, and service organizations will remain unchanged. Existing contracts, services, operating models, and data storage in Switzerland will also continue seamlessly. Sharp DX (Switzerland) AG will thus become an IT partner that combines local responsibility and personal proximity with the expertise and innovative strength of a Europe-wide organization.

The ORIA Enterprise Cloud platform, developed by ITpoint, enables the operation of cloud services in on-premises data centers and combines modern cloud technologies with local data residency and clearly defined operational responsibilities. The infrastructure is owned and managed by ITpoint Systems AG, which will operate under the new name Sharp DX (Switzerland) AG in the future.
