Your role
As Security & Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in further developing our information security and data protection strategy. You will serve as the CISO’s deputy, advise business units on security-related issues, and ensure that security, compliance, and data protection requirements are firmly embedded in the organization. In doing so, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Your Responsibilities
- Acting as the CISO's representative on operational and strategic matters
- Role of the Data Protection Officer
- Further development and enforcement of company-wide information security policies (security policies, standards, and guidelines)
- Establishment, operation, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and a risk management system
- Planning, conducting, and overseeing internal and external security audits
- Defining and Monitoring KPIs to Measure the Effectiveness of Security Measures
- Preparation of reports and management reports on security issues
- Development and Implementation of Security and Awareness Programs
- Analysis of current threat situations and identification of appropriate countermeasures
- Advice and support for departments on information security, data protection, and IT compliance
- Auditing and supporting IT projects with regard to security and compliance requirements
- Collaboration with Government Agencies, Auditors, and Security Organizations
Your strengths and knowledge
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, information security, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in information security management and compliance issues
- CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications (preferred)
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIS 2, GDPR, and other data protection standards
- Strategic and analytical thinking, as well as a strong ability to organize complex topics
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
