Your main tasks

• Design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures
• Responsibility for network availability, performance and security
• Monitoring and analyzing network data to detect and rectify faults
• Support for network customers and partners
• Support and training of junior network engineers and users
• Processing of network support tickets for customers at second & third level
• Documentation of network configurations, changes and standards
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and customer loyalty

Your strengths and knowledge

• Several years of professional experience in the network sector
• Sound knowledge of TCP/IP networks and network protocols
• Extensive experience with network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS, Huawei VRP, Fortinet FortiOS)
• Knowledge of network security (e.g. firewalls, VPN, SDWAN, ZTNA)
• Basic knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF
• Basic understanding of project management and customer contact
• Experience in dealing with ticketing systems
• Willingness to undergo continuous further training
• Certifications in network engineering at administration level (e.g. CCNA, NSE4) are an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Independent and reliable way of working
