Digital sovereignty and environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive. ORIA is operated by ITpoint Systems AG. As a subsidiary of Sharp Corporation, we are part of a group-wide sustainability strategy. Specifically, this means: efficient data centers in Switzerland, hardware with a long service life, and IT services that also make a difference in our customers’ resource consumption.

Two Swiss data centers, powered 100% by renewable energy
Modern cooling and energy solutions reduce electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions—while maintaining high availability.
Circulation
Keep hardware in use as long as possible instead of sending it to the electronics recycling bin
We extend the service life of components, donate end-user devices, and dispose of them properly through a recycling program.

Renewable Energy

Free Cooling
Significantly reduces the use of energy-intensive refrigeration compressors.
Seawater cooling
In suitable locations, seawater is used to cool the systems.
Adiabatic Cooling
Adiabatic cooling using rainwater evaporation.
Waste Heat Recovery
Where technically feasible, waste heat is fed into local heating networks.
Recycling and Donations
Devices are sent to Labdoo.org; components are sent to a recycling program for proper disposal.
